Robby Bruce - Outside The Square

This is my second go at creating a Live Spaces blog. I was considering rationalizing many of my special interest blogs, The Wing Fell Off, The Biff Diaries etc., and was all set to move them over here to Live Spaces....... then I noticed the banner ads . Thus these blogs stay where they are for the time being. However Live Spaces does offer some cool features and while I do not like banner ads being inflicted on my readers I will endure them for the time being. Hopefully any readers can endure them too. Of course one can subscribe and opt out of banner ads. However at Blogspot ads are optional and one can earn money from them. I prefer to do without and without paying for the privilege .... for now.

As my special interest blogs will remain as they are for the time being, this blog will feature my many and varied interests and, of course,life in general. However don't be surprised if the themes of 3D graphics, flight simulation, aviation, art, photography and music crop up frequently. However just about anything will be fair game.

I currently reside on one of the 'Southern Bay Islands' in Moreton Bay, Queensland Australia, near Brisbane. During 2007 I had the misfortune to be diagnosed with cancer, myxoid liposarcoma, a very unpleasant form of cancer. This threw many of my plans astray; affected me vocationally and resulted in many months of treatment and major surgery. I am not yet cancer free and will have further radiotherapy in February. I do have a separate blog on my cancer journey and will hopefully not make too much mention of it in this blog. I do enjoy hobbies such as 3D modeling and writing blogs. Life goes on and I enjoy it.

In the next couple of days I hope to organise the space and list some useful links. Anyway hunger pangs dictate that I leave my computer for the time being.
